VINE YOUR WAY TO GLASTONBURY
It will be a quiet week for many digital studios - it seems like half of you have headed off to Somerset for this year's Pilton Pop Festival (That's the Glastonbury Festival to you and I).
It's a good chance to start work on (or finish off) your entries for this year's Digital Impact Awards. That doesnt mean you have to miss out on the worlds biggest music festival, however. Communicate has a bundle of Glastonbury goodies to bequeath upon the most creative entry in a special Glastonbury/Vine/Digital Impact Awards competition.
The Digital Impact team is offering the next best thing to actual tickets to Glastonbury for one lucky creative Viner (has Vine made that leap like Twitter - can one Vine yet?). He or she who enters the best Vine relating to the Digital Impact Awards will win their very own Glastonbury weekend at home like no other. The prize pack includes:
- Two camping chairs to chill out in the front of the BBC's Glastonbury coverage
- A case of 24 beers to plough through
- A take away for two (your choice, but sadly we cant get the Goan Fish Curry stall to deliver from the JazzWorld stage)
- Worried you’ll miss some of the obscure acts the BBC aren't filming? We'll pay your Spotify bill for the next six months
- Two whistles (your kitchen could almost be the Dance Village)
- Hand sanitiser
- A bin liner (leave no trace)
- A NO-AD bottle of suncream (actually the lovely people at NO-AD will send out a NO-AD sampler to everyone who enters)
And finally,
- On Monday, we'll courier over the official Glastonbury programme
How can you win? All you need to do is get your Digital Impact Award trophy out from last year (or if you didnt win last year, be inspired from some of the imagery at DigitalImpactAwards.com) and create a Vine with it. Post it to Twitter using the tag #DigitalGlastonbury and don’t forget to tag @Comms_Events. The one the Digital Impact team likes the most wins.
