PUNCHY PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN NGO AND TV CHANNEL

A partnership has been announced between the NGO that specialises in combining boxing with personal development, Fight for Peace and BoxNation, a subscription-only boxing channel.

The relationship has been initiated with the aim of uniting boxing organizations to emphasise the positive social impacts that the sport can bring to communities riddled with crime and violence.

However the connection is expected to be mutually beneficial as the charity’s work will be broadcast and promoted to a much wider audience whilst BoxNation will undoubtedly gain masses of dedicated subscribers and fans.

Luke Dowdney MBE, founder of Fight for Peace says, “We are confident that, with the support of BoxNation and the increased exposure that this will bring, we will continue to grow and provide further help to young people in the UK who need our support.”

The NGO is based in the Borough of Newham, an area with significant gun and knife crimes incidents and works primarily with young people through its academy programme.
