DIGITAL IMPACT AWARDS 2016 SHORTLIST REVEALED
Establishing an effective online conversation with internal and external audiences is more important than ever. Measuring their impact informs future digital trends, and establish the most useful techniques to achieve breakthrough in the current digital climate.
Run by Communicate magazine, the Digital Impact Awards rewards the most inventive, emphatic and absorbing campaigns run from a digital platform. And, with digital innovation no longer confined to traditionally ‘tech’ sectors, this year’s entrants bring to the table a diverse and innovative selection of digital projects.
From heritage, to travel, to professional services and beyond, the entries highlight how integral digital engagement is when connecting with internal and external communities.
The 2016 Awards sees entries from 66 companies, with 116 projects making the shortlist. Some prolific names from organisations both at home and abroad are visible, including the British Medical Association, leading toiletry brand Lynx, pharmaceutical and medical devices company Johnson & Johnson, and insurance providers, Zurich Insurance.
The 2016 Digital Impact Awards will also welcome some familiar faces from previous ceremonies, on both company- and agency-side.
Digital transformation agency, Comprend, direct and digital experience agency, Bray Leino Yucca, and public relations and communications agency MSL Group, who won last year's coveted 'Digital agency of the year' prize, are among the agencies nominated last year who once again appear on this year’s shortlist.
Leading the submissions this year is London-based digital creation agency, the Reading Room, and digital agency Torchbox, with five nominations each.
Coming in at a close second are Turkey-based company Turkcell, SEO and content agency Verve Search, and international digital corporate communications company Investis Each have four nominations, from categories including ‘Best use of digital to aid a CR campaign,’ ‘Best use of digital – financial services,’ and ‘Best use of mobile and portable device.’
Prizes for ‘Digital agency of the year’ and ‘Digital campaign of the year’ will be awarded on the night.
The Digital Impact Awards will be held on Tuesday 18 October, at The Brewery in Moorgate, Central London.
