SHORTLIST ANNOUNCED FOR 2020 CORPORATE ENGAGEMENT AWARDS

Never has community engagement and good corporate governance been more important than in a time of global crisis. Companies that have established relationships within their communities or that have an authentic purpose positioning will be better placed to communicate throughout the pandemic.

Never is community engagement more important than in a time of global crisis. Companies that have established relationships within their communities or that have an authentic purpose positioning will be better placed to communicate throughout the pandemic.

For the past ten years, the Corporate Engagement Awards has recognised the best in collaboration, partnership, sponsorship and CSR. The Corporate Engagement Awards celebrate the good in business.

This year, the shortlist showcases businesses that are putting purpose at the heart of their corporate strategies. Submissions closed before the effects of the Covid19 had been seen, but judging took place after lockdown had kicked in, with judges convening over Zoom. If anything the focus this provided made the process even more thorough. It needed to be; submissions were up 78% on last year.

Judges from across the ESG landscape examine entries to determine who sets the benchmark for excellence in corporate engagement and communications. The best in class exhibit a clear linkage between purpose and business objectives, mutual benefits in partnership programmes and a relevance of engagement with charities and communities.

Brittany Golob, editor in chief of Communicate magazine, says, “The shortlisted organisations for this year’s Corporate Engagement Awards should be proud of their achievements. It has never been a more important time for businesses to embrace their corporate purpose and to do good for the communities in which they operate. Congratulations to every company that has been shortlisted.”

The winners of the Corporate Engagement Awards will be announced at a ceremony on 10 November. To book your table, email Lauren Ditcher or call +44 3950 5356.
