Acting as the benchmark for companies’ communication with the City and it’s influencers, this year saw an incredibly high calibre of entries across specific reports, campaign strategies and communications teams.

Andrew Thomas, publisher of Communicate magazine and founder of the Corporate & Financial Awards, says, “The past 18 months has been a challenge for all of us and the varied ways companies have responded to the pandemic has been extremely interesting to observe."

Following a challenging year for British businesses, the 2021 awards welcomed entries in a new category ‘Best corporate and financial communication during the Covid-19 pandemic.’ Lloyds Bank and Grayling were awarded Gold in this category for its ‘shave too close’ campaign which demonstrated creativity in raising awareness against fraud and delivered clear tangible results.  

The ‘Best IR agency or PR consultancy’ award was presented to Lansons for its impressive employee culture, ambitious attitude and consistent excellent results. The winner of the ‘Annual report of the year’ award went to Mondi Group and Radley Yelder for its bold creative direction which clearly captured the company’s purpose for stakeholders.

“The next year could be even more interesting, as companies start to come to terms with a post-pandemic and post-Brexit world. Having seen the world from tonight’s winners I know you have the potential to rise to that challenge. Congratulations to you all,” adds Thomas.
