RICHMOND INTERNAL COMMS FORUM
The Richmond Internal Comms Forum will take place virtually on Wednesday 16 June 2021 for senior level communications practitioners to strengthen their strategic and tactical plans through direct discussions with potential partners, informative seminars and a practical workshop.
The one-day forum provides an opportunity for senior communications professionals to connect, engage and network with the industry community. Attending practitioners will benefit from keynotes, webinars and an interactive workshop to gain skills and industry insight into the current marketplace.
David Clark, project director at Richmond Events, says, “We launched The Richmond Virtual Internal Communications Forum due to the increased demand and importance of the Internal Comms role caused by the Covid pandemic. We are delighted with the take up and interest from the industry.”
Wayne Clark, founding partner of the Global Growth Institute, will lead the opening keynote address as he looks at how comms teams can practically turn strategy into action. Keynote speakers in senior comms positions will also discuss topical themes from the past year, including the use of digital, social and collaboration tools to connect with non-desk employees, and how to create a high-performance routine to optimize performance and counter burnout in a hybrid working world.
Over 100 senior comms decision-makers will be in attendance, connecting through various meetings and introductions. All meetings are prescheduled using a unique appointment system that provides executives with a bespoke and organised itinerary. This offers flexible access to a wide range of industry professionals with specific areas of expertise.
Delegates schedule their own meetings for the day and pre-select those individuals that would be most beneficial to connect with. Workshops will take place through breakout groups where comms professionals can discuss the latest thinking on current industry issues.
“Whilst the events world continues it’s journey back to some sort of normality there remains a demand for the industry to meet and network. We are delighted to have been able to adapt our ‘live’ model, offering every attendee a menu of options on the day,” adds Clark.
Richmond live events will recommence with the Communication Directors’ Forum later this year, being held at The Grove, Hertfordshire on 11-12 November.
