STG ACQUIRES KANTAR TO CREATE NEW GLOBAL PARTNER FOR PR AND COMMS
Symphony Technology Group (STG) has completed its acquisition of Kantar’s Reputation Intelligence business, alongside purchasing PRgloo and Onclusive. On 5 January, STG announced the formation of a new standalone global media monitoring, measurement, and workflow management partner for PR and comms.
Technology investor, Symphony Technology Group, has acquired Europe’s largest media monitoring and analysis provider, Kantar Reputation Intelligence. It has also purchased media relations platform, PRgloo and measurement software solutions company, Onclusive, to create a new company with a unique offering across media monitoring, measurement, and workflow management.
“Last year STG made clear its intention to create a market leading insights and software company through the proposed acquisition of Kantar Reputation Intelligence. Completing that acquisition is a major first step and the additional capabilities brought by Onclusive and PRgloo widen the scope of our commitment to providing best-in-class solutions for PR and Communications teams, both now and in the future,” says J.T Treadwell, managing director at STG.
The new standalone company will operate under the name ‘Onclusive’ to reflect the inclusive and scalable nature of its newly combined offer. The existing services provided by Onclusive will go unchanged, but from 5 January clients can access the new extended range of services to support every stage of the communications cycle.
Marcus Gault, UK & Ireland managing director of the new Onclusive, says, “Our clients were our matchmakers – they told us they wanted one trusted partner to help them access and integrate our combined best-in-class services. We listened and from today Onclusive will help every client – from small enterprises to multi-national public and private organisations – shape, manage and evaluate their communications strategies.”
