VODAFONE BREAKS INTO THE PODCAST COMMS SPACE
Vodafone Smart Tech has joined forces with design authority and magazine, Wallpaper*, to create its first ever podcast series titled ‘Found: Objects with Meaning.’ The podcast will feature interviews from internationally celebrated creatives and design leaders.
Branching out into podcast communications Vodafone is increasing its audience reach and expanding the remit of its digital content. The podcast is focused on personal and emotive connections, which supports the brand identity as a connector and server of people.
Pamela Brown, chief marketing officer at Vodafone Smart Tech, says, “We know people care deeply about staying connected to the people and things that matter to them most in their lives. We also believe that smart tech has an important role to play in meeting these needs in a meaningful way.”
The podcast will feature guests including musician Nile Rogers, industrial designer Yves Béhar and ex-Olympian cyclist David Millar. They will discuss the objects that inspired them throughout the years. In one episode, Nile Rodgers shares his view on the impact of technology on creative expression, and another hears artist Polly Morgan discusses the role objects play in her artistic processes and the importance of memories.
Whether transformative technologies, physical tools or inspirational artwork, the podcast aims to highlight the value of everyday objects in professional and personal lives. It was created in partnership with Wallpaper* as part of Vodafone’s boarder purpose of connecting for a better future.
