COMMUNICATIONS AGENCY RE-LAUNCHES FREE VIRTUAL WORK EXPERIENCE FOR STUDENTS
Birmingham-based communications consultancy, Liquid, has re-launched its virtual work experience for sixth form and university students interested in a PR or comms career.
The work experience events will host up to 300 students from across the UK. Each session will be hosted by Liquid’s junior team and has been designed to provide practical career advice and insight into the industry.
The Public Relations and Communications Association have endorsed both the 'Introduction to PR' and the 'Introduction to social and digital' session. All students who attend and complete the course will receive a certificate as proof of the experience.
Liquid CEO, Elisabeth Lewis-Jones, says, "Liquid is proud to have a strong junior team and we’re keen to support more young people in their journey to starting a career in the communications industry.”
“We appreciate that finding work placements and work experience opportunities can be extremely competitive, so we’re pleased to offer our own virtual sessions which give everybody a chance to learn and grow. Giving back means a lot to our team and nurturing new talent is an integral part of who we are,” adds Lewis-Jones.
The sessions will task place on 21-22 of February via Zoom. There are still spaces available for this year’s virtual work experience via Eventbrite.
