Global challenges presented by the pandemic have shown that effective communications are more important than ever before. Digital communications have become a fundamental part of modern business, to connect workforces, strengthen relationships with stakeholders, and navigate the ever-changing online landscape.

The Digital Impact Awards Europe seek to recognise and celebrate excellence in the strategic development of digital communications. The entries will be assessed by an expert panel of judges with expertise across a range of sectors.

This year’s categories span a vast range of deliverables including corporate website, digital accessibility, use of data, audio, and online video. There is also an opportunity for the best use of digital within a specific sector to be celebrated. Find the full list of categories here.

Entries will be considered for the prestigious Grand Prix award, alongside 'Digital agency of the year' and 'Digital in-house team of the year.' The 2021 Grand Prix winner was the University of Cambridge and communications agency, Battenhall, for its impressive digital campaign which challenged existing impressions of the institution as an exclusively white middle-class university.

Andrew Thomas, publisher of Communicate magazine and founder of the awards, says, "The pandemic inspired organisations and agencies to think of new ways to reach their corporate audiences. The creativity and strategic insight we saw in the entries last year was off the scale. It’s no surprise that the Digital Impact Awards was a record year for entries - and from the work we see and write about I think 2022 will be even bigger and even better”

The Digital Impact Awards Europe 2022 awards ceremony will be held in Central London in October 2022.
