LENS: HAVANA CLUB
Cuban rum brand, Havana Club, have created a new video campaign announcing the release of its limited-edition Havana Club 7 bottle. The collaborative video with Spanish singer and songwriter, Bad Gyal, works to celebrate the power of music bringing communities together.
Havana Club worked with Bad Gyal to create the campaign. The singer-songwriter shares what she loves about parties, music and people. The video celebrates the union of the artists authentic urban energy and the brand’s Cuban roots.
The video shows Bad Gyal enjoying the drink with friends to show how the Havana brand brings people together. The bright colours and upbeat energy reflect the brand identity and its belief that music and Havana bring people and communities together.
"We are thrilled to be partnering with Bad Gyal in Spain, building this project around her communicative energy. This collaboration perfectly embodies Havana Club’s endeavour to build strong communities locally with artists that share the brand’s values,” says Anne Martin, global marketing director of Havana Club.
The launch video was filmed on the streets of Barcelona as Bad Gyal explains why she loves partying and music. The instrumental chords of her popular song ‘Feibre’ play in the background, further encapsulating the Cuban roots of the brand.
Bad Gyal says, "a party is the place where I connect with myself and with everyone who is there, you can feel the music and when that happens, those of us who are gathered together connect with each other... it's an energy that makes me feel alive".
