Fresh from its rebranding programme, financial services group Aviva has appointed a new corporate affairs and communications director for Europe.

Jon Bunn joins the firm from Prudential where he had been group public relations director, responsible for the corporate and financial media relations strategy. Before that he was director of media relations at PricewaterhouseCoopers and he began his career as a journalist.    

At Aviva, Bunn will be responsible for internal and external communications across the region, reporting into Andy Moffat, director of human resources in Europe. “Jon brings with him a wealth of industry and communications experience,” said Moffat. “This newly created position underlines the vital role communications has to play in helping us drive growth and profitability in the region.”
