24 HOUR NON-STOP INTRANET PARTY

Some of the world’s biggest companies will be throwing open their intranet doors for IBF24, a 24 hour online showcase of intranets and digital workspaces.  The event, organised by the Intranet Benchmarking Forum (IBF), starts at noon on 2 June in London, and then travels across the world to New York, San Francisco, Australia, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Tel Aviv before returning to London following day.

Companies participating in IBF24 include BT, Ernst & Young and Aviva. IBF organised a similar event in 2008, with founder, Paul Miller, escaping for two hours of sleep. This year he hopes to stay awake for the whole day. Delegates can buy a 24 hour pass and come and go as they please.

The IBF is a members-only intranet benchmarking group which provides independent benchmarking, research and events for members. The event is hosted and delivered using the webex online meeting technology so participants can join in from anywhere as long as they have a computer.
