ONLINE BRAND SAFETY STILL INSECURE

Brands remain encircled by damaging black holes in the vast cosmic of the internet.

Project Sunblock, a leading brand protection solution, proposes to tighten their online content authentication tools to protect business’ brand reputation. This initiative to step up defences comes in light of new research endorsed by the ‘online brand patrols’.

According to reports ‘‘a third of UK brands have no insight into where their advertising is appearing online.’’ In addition, virtually half of senior marketers feel their brand is not being protected sufficiently online. Greater transparency is being demanded.

Data reveals that a good amount of digital advertising is placed beside brand damaging content. Project Sunblock’s new interface technology will provide brands with crucial analytics. They aim to limit business' capital being spent on damaging advertising, and combat potential negative brand reputation.

Andrew Goode, COO, Project Sunblock says: ‘‘Digital advertisings is becoming more instantaneous and harder to track than ever before. If left unchecked, brands are leaving themselves open to a raft of potential threats. Big brands are effectively allowing their collateral to be hosted on illegal or sexually explicit websites, and each time that happens, brands are putting money in the back pocket of criminals.’’
