DRPG discussed thought leadership and innovation from its central office in the midlands.

Integrated communications group DRPG held the fourth edition of the DRPGBigtalk last week, with sessions pivoting around the theme of space and the exploration of new frontiers for the communications industry.

The event brought 150 delegates inside the DRPG’s 212 Studios in Hartlebury, providing the participants with insights on topics such as audience engagement, AI, consumer behaviour and more.

Speakers at the various sessions included Dan Hulme, who focused on how to understand AI rather than fighting it, and former negotiator Richard Mullender, who taught participants how to persuade ‘like a hostage negotiator’ to get the best results for their clients.

DRPGBigtalk 2019 enabled the group to gather the industry around future trends, with a closing session by Virgin exploring the boundaries and challenges of space tourism.

“For brands, businesses and even individuals, we are living in an age of extremely rapid change and transformation,” group CEO Dale Parmenter stated. “If we’re going to stay relevant to the next generation of employees and consumers, we need to act fast and stay ahead of the curve when it comes to implementing new communication strategies and campaigns.”
