Last year’s entries impressed the judges with their strategic insight, problem solving capabilities and creativity in solving some of the biggest challenges companies have faced in recent history. Communicators have been responsible for ensuring employees feel supported and stakeholders remain informed this past year.

Andrew Thomas, publisher of Communicate magazine and founder of the awards, says, “The Corporate and Financial Awards is already firmly established as the widest benchmark of corporate reporting. This year, however, we’ve taken it one stage further. More categories, more judges, and a stronger balance of strategy and creativity. It isn’t, of course, a celebration only of the annual report.”

The extensive list of categories covers corporate website, reporting, and financial communications across IPOs, M&A’s, crisis comms and more. The new categories for 2022 are ‘Best diversity & inclusion reporting,’ ‘Best integrated report,’ ‘Best cover’ and ‘Best copy style and/or tone of voice.’

Past winners, who took home their prizes at the awards ceremony last year, include the likes of Mondi Group and Radley Yeldar, Burberry, BT, Emperor and Black Sun among many others. 

“The Corporate and Financial Awards exists to reward excellence in all areas of communication to the city and those who influence the city. Judges will scrutinise the breadth of corporate communications, investor relations and corporate and financial PR. We look forward to seeing the excellent communications work entered into the 2022 awards,” adds Thomas.
