A BLOG DISCUSSING EVERY ASPECT OF B2B SOCIAL NETWORKING, EXCLUDING MARKETING, GOES LIVE

Technically orientated managers from around the globe are now able to discuss how to use social networking online on the “Social Media for B2B” blog, launched by Global B2B Communications.

The blog is aimed at senior staff in technology, science and engineering companies, and technical publication editors, who are dedicated to maintaining quality information in their industry.

Marketing is not a permitted topic of discussion, and the site aims to provide accurate, professional information on how social networking can be effectively used in the B2B industry.

Amy Munice, president of Global B2B Communications says: “We just don’t want to be part of the misinformation that is festering on social networking but we do have things to add to the conversation. What’s missing is a spotlight on how social networking can be a very valuable tool for manufacturing and product development, cultivating informed discussions on technical insights, and how editors of technical and trade publications can listen in to social networks to find good story fodder and help their readers do a better job at staying up-to-date and informed about emerging technologies and best practices.”

The site features guest bloggers who hold a level of expertise in their field, and was launched online 9 February.
