HEALTHCARE FESTIVAL INTRODUCES NEW AWARD CATEGORY
The inaugural Lions Health festival and awards for creativity in healthcare marketing and communications has introduced a new award; the ‘Lions Health united nations foundation grand prix for good’. The award will honour the best entry from a charity, NGO or not-for-profit.
All gold lion award winners will be reviewed by both the ‘Health & wellness’ and the ‘Pharma’ juries who will award one outstanding entry with the new accolade. The winner of the award will be revealed at the Lions Health awards in Cannes, France.
Jeremy Perrott, chief creative officer, McCann Health and president of the inaugural Lions Health ‘Pharma’ jury, says, “The global health community is looking for innovation, creativity, and impact to achieve audacious goals to improve the health of the world. Advertising may sell and make consumers aware, but our industry has so much more influence and power to make a significant life-saving difference, this award celebrates that simple gesture.”
As well as the awards, which honour creative healthcare communications ideas, Lions Health will also host a thought-leadership programme. The event will also be a coming-together of global industry experts and leaders, and will provide a chance to network and share ideas.
The Lions Health two-day festival is hosted by Lions Festivals and is the world’s first festival of creativity in healthcare communications.
