THE TRANSFORM AWARDS MENA SHORTLIST GOES LIVE

As the award ceremony date draws nearer, the shortlist for this year’s prestigious Transform MENA awards is revealed. The awards will celebrate the best in Middle Eastern and North African brand development.

Those shortlisted for the 2014 Transform Awards MENA include Al Alan TV and Turquoise Branding, Commercial Bank of Qatar and Industry, dnata and Brash Brands, King Abdullah Economic City and Turquoise Branding, and Seef Mall and Unisono in the ‘Best use of a visual property’ category. Another competitive category was ‘Best strategic/creative development of a new brand’, and the shortlisted entries are; Abu Dhabi Technology Department Committee and Brand Union, Al Mutawakelah and Omnia, ARN and Brash Brands, Fundo Soberano de Angola and Grayling, Mudadala Petroleum and Omnia, and The Supreme Council of Health and Agency222.

The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on 2 June 2014 at the JW Marriot Marquis Hotel in Dubai. While Transform MENA celebrates its first year, the European Awards recently ran for its fifth consecutive year. Winners at this year’s Transform Awards Europe included; ITV, who went home with six awards, including the ‘Grand Prix’, Eurostar and The Clearing who won four awards, including the ‘Best overall visual identity’, and Schillings and Goosebumps Brand Consultancy who won two gold, and two silver awards.
