ENGAGED EMPLOYEES MAKE FOR GREAT WORKPLACES

Research shows that trust drives engagement in the workplace. The 100 workplaces recognised by the 2014 Great Workplaces report credit their business success to an engaged workforce.

The Great Place to Work scheme surveys over ten million employees in 6,000 organisations around the world. The anonymous survey collates information from employees and management in order to evaluate the quality of their working environments.

The findings of the 2014 survey were released on 20 May and are organised into four categories; ‘Best workplaces 2014’ for small, medium and large organisations, and ‘World’s best multinational workplaces’ (the results of this category have not yet been released). Capital One rates top of the large organisations leader board, One Vision Housing tops the medium organisations list and DMW Group is number in the small organisations group.

In 2013, high scorers in the ‘World’s best multinational workplaces’ included Google, SAS Institute, NetApp, Microsoft, and W.L. Gore and Associates.

The Great Place to Work Institute is part of the world’s largest consultancy specialising in helping organisations build high trust, high engagement workplaces. To see the full International Best Workplaces Lists, click here.
