PR AND COMMUNICATIONS EVENT

While it is important to keep up to date with new media and technology, it remains essential to keep a firm grasp on brand reputation and performance. That’s the message that will be conveyed at this year’s Future Comms event.

In the fast-moving PR and communications industry it is particularly important for professionals to meet with peers and share ideas. The 2014 Future Comms event In June will provide such an opportunity, and will bring together over 200 marcomms professionals, speakers and practitioners.

Held at The Crystal in London, Future Comms will cover themes such as, ‘how can brands tell more compelling stories?’ and, ‘how can we measure more smartly?’ The event will include a welcome from Mynewsdesk and a keynote with Diedre Breakenridge, author of five Financial Times books.

Adam Cranfield, head of marketing at Mynewsdesk,  says, "This is arguably the most exciting time to work in the communications industry. Comms professionals are tasked with mastering the latest technology, adapting to the changing media landscape and satisfying the growing expectations of consumers and stakeholders. I'm extremely excited by the line-up we've assembled for FutureComms14 and I think it's going to be an event that will inspire, inform and hopefully provoke passionate debate."

The event will take place on Wednesday 18 June, and speakers include Daniel Dodd, director of communications and content at the National Trust, former New Statesman deputy editor, Jon Bernstein, Emma Hart, head of PR and campaigning at O2, and Jon Morter, award-winning social media community specialist and speaker.
