WEBCAST EXPLORES M-LEARNING AND THE FUTURE OF TRAINING TECHNOLOGY

As learning and development programmes move into the digital sphere, human resources are faced with a range of choices for their training needs.

Any time, any place access to training technology is undeniably a positive outcome of the rapid adoption of mobile devices, with employees being able to incorporate learning into their daily routine. Training courses that are equipped for this kind of access may find they are at an advantage.

On top of this adoption of mobile is the growing acceptance of a more flexible approach to working. Partly because of digital advances, employees are able to work remotely more easily than ever before. Mobile L&D programmes are, not only advantageous, but are a necessary requirement for this kind of worker.

An Arkadin webcast, taking place on 9 July, will draw on research gathered from 3,000 L&D leaders and 13,000 learners around the globe to explore the impact of mobile e-learning (m-learning), and its place in the future work environment.

Keynote speaker will be Laura Overton, managing director at Towards Maturity, a not-for-profit learning technologies research organisation. Adobe Connect’s evangelist Peter Ryce will also present, and the webcast will be hosted by Andrew Thomas, publishing editor at Cravenhill Publishing.
