The UK’s largest regional PR awards has announced its 2014 shortlist. More than 350 PR teams, consultancies and individuals have been shortlisted for the 2014 CIPR PRide Awards.

The Awards take place in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and across six English regions, providing due recognition to outstanding PR campaigns conceived outside of London.

Among those shortlisted are Smarts Communicate (Northern Ireland), who have been shortlisted 16 times, Cool Blue Brand Communications (North East), shortlisted 14 times, and McCann PR (Midlands) who have been shortlisted 10 times for multiple campaigns.

Commenting on the announcement, Alastair McCapra, CIPR CEO, says, “This is a special year for the CIPR PRide Awards after making some important changes to enhance the Award’s integrity through merging some of our smaller regions into bigger and better competitions. As a result, we have seen an even higher standard of entries across the board in all categories and I would like to congratulate those of you who have been recognised for your outstanding work by making this year’s shortlists.
