RECRUITING WITH DIGITAL

RB, the manufacturer of health and hygiene brands, such as Dettol, Nurofen, Durex and Finish, has gone beyond the usual recruiting process with a campaign that contributes to its long-term employer brand.

The, primarily digital, Make Your Move campaign includes a video that broadcasts RB’s unique company culture. The short video is fast-paced and comic, released across multiple social media and video-streaming platforms its role is to direct professionals to the RB careers website where they can find more detailed information.

Johan Wahlström, HR director Northern Europe, says, “We wanted to take a completely fresh approach with this campaign. We are very experienced at working with graduates but reaching out to those already on their way up the career ladder we need to show them a different view of what RB is all about and the opportunities it brings. RB‘s culture is very action and results orientated with rewards based on achievement. We truly want people who are willing and able to challenge and to create. In return they get to work with great brands that get amazing investment – in both R&D and marketing spend - so that RB can continue to innovate and stay at the forefront of its markets.”

While many are familiar with RB’s sub-brands, the corporate entity itself is less well known and the Make Your Move video addresses this by taking the camera on a tour of its best known brands, highlighting their individual and intersecting brand qualities.

The video also boasts RB’s sustainability credentials and promises an exciting and innovative working environment.
