APPLYING DIGITAL TO COMMS STRATEGY

Awards recognise digital communications excellence in Europe for six years running

Another year, another group of digital specialists recognised at the 2015 Digital Impact Awards. During a night of camaraderie, networking and celebration, gold trophies were awarded to digital communications campaigns in numerous sectors and targeting a range of audiences. Among the winners were ITV Studios and Rawnet, who won ‘Digital campaign of the year’, MSLGROUP, who won ‘Digital agency of the year’ and The King’s Fund, who won ‘Digital in-house team of the year.’

The awards were presented by comedian, Dan Willis, at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square. Other gold winners on the night included British Heart Foundation, Fuller’s and True, Microsoft Lumia and 1000heads Ltd, The King's Fund, UGG and Lost Boys and Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. All of the winning campaigns beautifully illustrated digital’s potential to enable creative, effective and innovative communications campaigns.

The winners were chosen by a panel of expert judges that included Sita Aley, director, head of employee digital channels at Coutts, Toby Coffey, head of digital development at the National Theatre, Adrian Harris, head of digital communications at Bupa and Amos Mtaita, digital media content analyst in corporate communications at Deutsche Post DHL. The full list of judges can be found here.

The evening was a demonstration of the excitement and potential around digital specialists and digital communications. In today’s environment, communications campaigns are rarely without an element of digital, but it takes industry leaders to push the boundaries of what is expected.
