COMMERCIAL MEDIA AWARDS

The inaugural World Media Awards will celebrate the potential of content-driven marketing techniques.

Shortlisted brands and agencies, who have all demonstrated strategy and creativity in their entries, originate from Australia, Canada, China, Egypt, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, the UAE and the UK. The breadth of entries shows how successful and valued content-driven communications can be.

Alex Altman, managing director at MEC Global Solutions and co-head judge of the World Media Awards, says, “Our jury of 22 independent, international industry experts was blown away by the quality and innovation that it saw in this year’s entries. Cross-border content campaigns have a high level of complexity, but the shortlisted entries demonstrate how great planning and creativity can create results that transcend geographical boundaries.”

The awards is organised by the World Media Group, a strategic alliance of the world’s leading publications which incorporates Bloomberg Businessweek, Bloomberg Markets, The Economist, Forbes, Fortune, National Geographic, Newsweek, Quartz, The New York Times, TIME and The Wall Street Journal. Its aim is to promote award-winning journalism and the role of international media.

The World Media Awards Reception will take place on 16 March, 2016 at The Ham Yard Hotel in Soho, London.
