FINANCIAL PR AWARDS

This year, the PRCA launched an awards event geared specifically towards PR practitioners who practice in the city.

Last night, at an event held at the Merchant Taylors' Hall in London, the winners of those awards were revealed. Instinctif Partners and Schroders won best agency and best in-house team respectively.

There were 13 categories in all at the City and Financial PR Awards. The Outstanding Contribution award went to Neil Bennett, chief executive at Maitland and the Professional of the Year Award went to Helen Lacey, director of external communications at Barclaycard. The Best City Journalist or Blogger Award went to Sky News city editor, Mark Kleinman.

Francis Ingham, director general at the PRCA, says “We are delighted to launch the City & Financial PR Awards. The UK’s City PR industry is the envy of the world, and I am proud to be celebrating the very best that it has to offer.”

The event was hosted by businessman and financial pundit for the BBC, David Buick on 25 February, 2016. View the full list of winners here.
