SEMINARS AND STAR STUDDED EVENTS

BAFTA-hosted event, Advertising Week Europe (AWE), has announced this year’s seminar programme. Due to run from 31 March to 4 April, AWE is Europe’s largest advertising festival and a prestigious gathering of marketing and communications industry-experts and popular culture figures.

The event is a dedicated forum that will enable industry leaders to share their specialist knowledge and experience, promote dynamic discussion and offer good networking opportunities.

Highlights of the event are expected to be; leadership breakfasts with Channel 4, Guardian and The Telegraph at Ronnie Scotts, M&C Saatchi Worldwide CEO leading a discussion with Freddy Flintoff MBE and Victoria Pendleton CBE, and ITV presents Trevor McDonald OBE. Other famous faces who will be taking part in the week-long programme include British actors Idris Elba and James Cordon.

Matt Scheckner, managing director of Advertising Week Europe said, “The genuine collaborative spirit of Advertising Week Europe really rings true for London and we will deliver on our promise to educate, engage, enlighten and inspire.”

London has been the home of Advertising Week Europe since its inaugural year in 2013, Advertising Week has just celebrated its tenth anniversary in New York.
