EMPLOYER BRAND MANAGEMENT AWARDS LAUNCHES IT'S 2021 CALL FOR ENTRIES

Since Communicate magazine launched the Employer Brand Management Awards six years ago, the perceptions and conversations around employer brand have continued to evolve. In this climate, Communicate magazine is happy to announce the launch of the Employer Brand Management Awards 2021 which will celebrate excellence in the brand management process across the continent.

The employer brand goes beyond fancy recruitment adverts; it is an intrinsic part of the ethos and ethics of an organisation. If utilised well, it attracts, engages and retains talent. It also, importantly, instigates the employee experience and guides the employee journey.

The Awards accept entries from any private sector company, public sector organisation, creative agency or individual who has helped develop or apply a successful employer brand. Past Gold winners include Metropolitan Police and Tonic, the AA in partnership with PeopleScout and TMP, and Shell.

Andrew Thomas, publisher of Communicate magazine and founder of the Employer Brand Management Awards, says, “After 2020 and all that it has brought we now face a major recalibration of the way we relate to the businesses and organisations that touch our lives. More than ever the positioning of the employer brand and the reality of the employee journey will be under scrutiny. This is the sixth year for the Employer Brand Management Awards and the benchmarking it provides has never been more important.”

The more than 20 categories include ‘Best alignment of the employer value proposition with corporate brand values,’ ‘Best integration of the employer brand in communications strategy’, and two new additions: 'Best onboarding and/or reboarding programme' and 'Best employee wellbeing initiative.'

Each project will be reviewed by a panel of expert judges, from those tasked with their organisation’s attraction, engagement and retention strategies, to those in HR, internal and corporate communications backgrounds.

You can view the 2021 judging panel here.

Entries are accepted until 21 May, with entries submitted after 7 May being subjected to a late entry fee.
