WINNERS OF CORPORATE ENGAGEMENT AWARDS 2020 ANNOUNCED

Communicate magazine is proud to announce the Corporate Engagement Awards winners, which recognise the most successful and innovative corporate partnerships, sponsorships and CSR programmes, and the communication strategies surrounding those collaborations. Each winner’s project has added value its organisation’s reputation.

With a gold in ‘Best community involvement during a CSR programme,’ Irish retailer SuperValu also took home the ‘Grand prix’ award for its work on creating an autism-friendly environment for its community by improving the shopping experience for the 50,000 plus families across Ireland living with autism. The judges saw the local-first strategy as an excellent programme that features a clear alignment of objectives across its partner organisations.

“Companies have to strive more than ever before to be transparent and authentic in their activities and communications. One of the best ways to achieve this is through excellent brand partnerships, ESG programmes and strategies and charity alignments. We’re proud to recognise those companies that are doing good in their communities each and every day,” says Brittany Golob, editor in chief of Communicate magazine.

The judges were impressed by Raleigh International and McCannWorldgroup UK, which won the ‘Best team effort during a programme’ award for their work with youth groups on leadership training, employability skills and communications. Every single one of McCann Worldgroup employees agreed the programme contributed to better collaboration across the group’s different agencies. The Artichoke Trust also swept its categories with two gold awards in ‘Best arts and culture programme’ and ‘Best collaboration for a single event’ for a partnership that delivered an innovative art installation.

Winners were announced last night through the first virtual event in the awards’ history. The full winners list is as follows:
